About Gordon

Gordon moved to the Yorkshire Dales 18 years ago from Scotland and now lives in the idyllic village of Appletreewick.  He has 5 children the three youngest of which attended primary school in Burnsall.

Before the touring career began he spent 6 years as a “dinner lady” at Burnsall Primary School where his children spent their primary years. He spends his “retirement” showing off his beloved Yorkshire Dales, a place he now thinks of as home.

Over the years Gordon has travelled tens of thousands of miles and has acquired a wealth of knowledge of the most interesting routes throughout the Dales.

He is by all accounts a very lovely person who will ensure you have a wonderful visit.
